So a little while back I mentioned that the customer who purchased the
Kendall blanket, decided to purchase two more for Kendall's brothers. That would only be fair, right? Well, I just finished the blanket for the 5-year old who is fascinated by Spiderman, "the black Spiderman" he said, "and my favorite colors are black and gray." Ok, all this was over the phone and as I learned more about the newer versions of Spiderman I wasn't completely sure if he meant the black Spiderman OR the black and Hispanic Spiderman.
The blanket is a surprise gift from his grandmother and besides, you know the attention span of a 5-year old so bombarding him with more questions would be futile. Nevertheless, I crafted the blanket in black and gray and stitched a red spider in the center of the web just in case.
This one's for you, RJ. Hope you enjoy it and all of it's spidey goodness! Now I need to get started on the one for Bryson. :-)
Happy Crafting,
Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe red spider touch in the center is just great! Ewww~! :-D
ReplyDeleteYou out did yourself with this one Libby! The spider makes the entire blanket. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to add the spider! I'm sure he'll love it!

We do not have a specific pizza recipe. We just purchase the dough at the store, along with pizza sauce, fresh mozzerella and fresh basil. We would like it to taste more like Bertucci's but it just does not work without their ingredients!
The snow stinks. We ended up with a nasty storm on Saturday night too and a lot of people are still without power in my area. Luckily mine came back on at 2pm Sunday!!! Lots of school cancellations too...crazy! ~Val
This is SO AWESOME - I LOVE IT!!!
